* CUPS: Printing On Both Sides of the Paper

The -o sides=two-sided-short-edge and -o sides=two-sided-long-edge options
will enable duplexing on the printer, if the printer supports it.
The -o sides=two-sided-short-edge option is suitable for landscape pages,
while the -o sides=two-sided-long-edge option is suitable for portrait pages:

lp -o sides=two-sided-short-edge filename ENTER
lp -o sides=two-sided-long-edge filename ENTER
lpr -o sides=two-sided-long-edge filename ENTER

The default is to print single-sided:

lp -o sides=one-sided filename ENTER
lpr -o sides=one-sided filename ENTER

What is the Cellular Architecture?

1. Cellular computers consist of many identical processors (cell), memory units are integrated into each of cells.

2. When data is needed, all cells can be used to look for it in their own memories.

3. There must be a high number of cells, with tens of thousands to a million processors, each cell is small enough—a single chip. To shorten communication time between cells, each is connected only to its nearest neighbors.

4. Cellular architecture automatically reroutes instructions and data around malfunctioning cells.
The silicon-capability chip multiprocessor is a manifest destiny. It's not a question of whether it's a good, bad, neutral, or above-average idea. Chip multiprocessors are going to exist. The question is how will they exist: what form, what communication network, and most importantly, what programmer's model? --- Kurt Keutzer, Univ. of California, Berkeley.
